Post Bird day

Thanksgiving was good. I burnt the gravy, but that was the only loss. Everything else turned out great. more later...

So, it is thanksgiving day, and I have finished my work at the store for the day. Just put the bird in the oven, and am boiling the guts for a nice gravy stock as I type. I think the boys and I are going to go out and drop our crab pots, maybe pull them tomorrow after work. The powers that be have opened the crab season up for sport crabbing here, and , as of dec 1, it will be open every day until the end of the year. YAhoo!!!! We love crab... And winter crab is even better than normal, as the meat is denser than summer crab. Plus, we get to go out on our boat. IT rocks... IT is a little 18 foot Olympic, with an ALaska bulkhead, and a nice outboard. All the instruments work well, except for the speedo, which I compensate for with a Magellan GPS. I know better than to speed through shallow/narrow waterways, so the only time we really open it up is between islands, or when we know exactly where we are going.
I am so glad i bought this keyboard. I got so used to being able to use one on my T3, that when I realized that the old keyboard wouldn't work with my new Lifedrive, I was pretty bummed. THen I found i wanted to get back to blogging on my site, and decided that I wanted tobe able to do it while mobile, thus, I needed a keyboard! So, I will be updating this on a regular basis now, so check back in on either this or my tech blog, for all sorts of news, weirdness, and my personal flavor of the moment.

Wow, my new keyboard arrived today! I am so totally jazzed. As I expected, I cannot be connected to any other bt device when using the keyboard, but that is no problem. Vagablog let's me write as much as I want, and post when connected, and Versamail is the same way. The setup was incredibly simple, and reconnecting after I closed the keyboard only took a few seconds. It has the exact same response, touch-wise to my wired keyboard for my T3 (which now belongs to my wife, who loves it)

Well,I will have to write more in a little bit, but I promised that I would make a post as soon as I got the keyboard. Here it is....

Interesting

I hate firing people. I know there are times that it is necessary, but that barely changes anything. Of course, I don't puke every time, {like I used to} but I let myself worry too much about the lives I am affecting, as opposed to the fact that the people that I have to fire are responsible for their own actions and lives. Somtimes it is very difficult to place that dividing line, and keep myself 'in check.' Live and learn...

So, sitting in the Dr.s office, waiting to get a blood draw, reading the news. What a strange world we live in!

Excellent he replies, fingers bridged.... It works! Stil testing Vagablog, as it does not apper tu upate automatically... just a simpler way to post works for me!

Interesting...
I a now trying a new tool, Vagablog, which was able to communicate with my server nicely... I guess I will have to see if this posts well. I can't wait for a keyboard!
